2. Cable Crunch (oblique target)
Don’t forget those lovely little abs that frame your sides – oh so sexy!

Begin by holding the cable rope (attached to a high cable pulley) and assume a kneeling position approximately 2 feet from the weight stack.

Place your hands behind your head and keep your arms locked on the sides of your head. Hold your arms in this position as your go through the exercise. Keep your knees bent at a 90 degree angle.

Breathe in while pulling down against the resistance of the weight. Contract your obliques as you reach your right elbow for your left knee. Hold for 1-2 seconds and exhale while squeezing your obliques. Slowly return to the start position as you resist the weight with your abs and oblique muscles.

Repeat using left elbow and right knee. Try 3 sets with 12-15 reps.
