DH: No. It’s just that guys are getting married older. The average age is 27.5. This means the “traditional” events that occur at a bachelor party are things they’ve already done time and time again. They also have more disposable income and because of busy schedules they’re more appreciative of the male-bonding opportunity.

BIIG: Which adventure is the most popular?

DH: Most popular trips are rafting down the rapids. For the most part not everyone has experienced it and it takes them out of their element. There is no need to be in good physical condition and it’s something everyone can experience together, as opposed to skydiving, which is obviously a bit more solitary.

BIIG: What if I need a gun in my hand to feel good? Can we re-enact “The Most Dangerous Game”?

DH: While hunting isn’t available (especially of the human variety), paintball excursions are available as either an add-on or an adventure all on its own. We recommend giving your groom-to-be a helmet and 30 seconds to run. For those that want the feel of cold steel in their hands, skeet shooting is also available.
