


4) Sumo! The greatest sport in Japan. There are six Grand Sumo tournaments each year: three in Tokyo, and one each in Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. Tournaments are held every other month beginning in January. It cannot be missed.
5) Ninja Lessons in Kyoto. Once Japan’s Imperial Capital, Kyoto offers an historic appreciation of Japanese culture - Samarais and Geishas. The narrow streets are filled with all kinds of shops, food vendors and bars. Take some time to visit the temples of Kyoto. The architecture of these buildings is absolutely amazing. A must see is Kinkakuji Temple, which is fully covered in gold!
